What is the project about?

What is the task?

After collaborating with Digital Awareness UK for the Instant Network Schools project, we were asked to produce a set of teaching videos about life skills for KEFETA, a platform designed to support young Ethiopian adults, based on the previous projects’ content.

Our main task was to explain life skills young adults can implement when planning their lives, using tools such as affirmation boards and goal-setting techniques. As these techniques might be too abstract to understand, the major mission is to translate these techniques into visuals that everyone can understand, regardless of background.

How did I approach the project?

We started by breaking down the videos into two parts: infographics and real-life scenarios. While infographics help audiences to understand the content easily, real-life scenarios can ensure the whole video is grounded. By using designed characters, the goal is to create videos with a friendly tone, rather than boring lesson videos.
