"Rob N Roll" is a 2024 Hong Kong action black comedy film starring Aaron Kwok, Gordon Lam, and Richie Jen. The plot follows three dispirited, middle-aged robbers as they awkwardly attempt a heist.
Although unrelated in story, the film reminds me of "Catch Me If You Can." During pre-production, I selected key elements like briefcases, taxis, and guns to develop the visuals, drawing inspiration from the Saul Bass graphic style.
The main challenge was handling the extensive credit list. To ensure readability, I restricted the color palette to red and black for the credit sequence, as well as using minimalist designs for the background elements.
