What is the project about?
What is the task?
Shape of Harmony is a musical project that aims to connect the local community through accapella. Each year, the band Boonfaysau goes into different neighbourhoods, inviting participants to re-imagine the community through music.
Boonfaysau invited me to collaborate with them in creating video backdrops for their finale performance. Other than backdrops for three songs, I was also asked to design visuals between each chapter.
How did I approach the project?
Having collaborated with Boonfaysau for a couple of years, I recognised the smoothing element in their music. With that in mind, I brought that calm energy into the designs by using gradient palettes.
